Bubba sent this email to me on January 27th...it's "so Bubba". Glo...you know Jim and I love you and cherish our friendship with you both. We will miss Bubba so much (mean it!) Remember you "promised" to let us help if we can. We are so sad for all who love Bubba. So happy for him being with Jesus ("fishin' and huntin' and tawkin with Jesus, it ain't no better than that") Remember when he said that just two short weeks ago? Love you. 1. When you are sad, I will jump on the person Who made you sad Like a spider monkey Jacked up on Mountain Dew!!! 2. When you are blue, I will try to dislodge Whatever is choking you.. 3. When you smile, I will know you are Plotting something That I must be involved in. 4. When you're scared, We will high tail it out of here. (only in the rare event my Colt 45 failed us!) 5. When you are worried, I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse It could be until you Quit whining, ya big baby!!!! 6.. When you are confused, I will use little words. (if only to bore you..boy you know I can tawk!) 7 . When you are sick, Stay away from me Until you are well again. I don't want whatever you have.... 8. When you fall, I'll pick you up And dust you off-- WHILE I LAUGH MY REAR OFF! 9.. This is my oath..... I pledge it to the end. 'Why?' you may ask; -- because you are my FRIEND! *********************** Friendship is like peeing your pants, Everyone can see it, But only YOU Can feel the True warmth... **********************

Glo, I cannot begin to tell you how deeply I feel the loss of Bubba. Getting to know both of you during our 32 weeks of bible study last year has been one of my great joys in being at PCC. Both of you are so giving to others simply for the joy of being like Jesus...nothing asked in return. My prayers are with you, right now, and will remain with you as you begin yet another different journey in your life. Much love, Sara

I am so very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Bubba through my 1st cousin Tommy Richard several years ago on a fishing trip to Steinhatchee. Bubba is a man i will never forget. His personality and love for the outdoors was so big and i am so grateful i had the opportunity to meet and get to know him in such a short time. God bless you and your family and the many friends Bubba shared his life with and all of you can know in your heart that Bubba helped make this world a better place. GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!

Glo, I personally will have "many" great memories fishing with Bubba over the last several years in Steinhatchee. Also some of the most "enlightening" conversations about life and relationships. It was always a pleasure to sit down with him one on one as he was one of the best conversationalists that I have ever met. Thank you Glo, for letting him share his life over the years as he so loved to do with many people. I feel blessed to have known him and to call him a friend, as there are so few in this world today. God Bless you and your family.

Glo, I pray for God to give you strength and grant you peace. I was one of the regulars at the fishcamp. Bubba was a friend, a fisherman, a Rebel, he served his country, and he served others. We will miss his stories and advice. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May God Bless you. Gary

To Glo and Bubba's family my deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you. Blessed, that is how I feel to have known Bubba as my friend. My girls and I only knew Bubba for a few years and he made such an impact on our lives. He always had a smile and a kind word. There are few people that come into your lives that you can call a true friend, and he was most certainly one of them. He will never be forgotten, not his smile, his laughter, his advice or stories. He did such good work on this earth, he was a true servant of God. May God give the Walker family the strength they will need during this difficult and challenging time. Rest in Peace Bubba. We love you.
